The OptiPlex 5000 series comes in several case sizes with much the same internals. If the machine has to be expandable, take the SFF; if it just has to take up as little room as possible, take the Micro. That makes it easy to give the whole building the same machine in different shapes.
We do not hold it in stock. We source it per order — tell us the quantity and what the machines are for, and we come back with price and lead time.

Worth knowing
- The Micro has fewer expansion options than the SFF. If a graphics card or extra drives might be needed later, choose SFF from the start.
- The cases look alike on paper — say which variant you want, so a Micro does not turn up where an SFF was meant to be.
